INFOCAST - INFORMATION NARROW-CASTING
This revolutionary concept provides accurate Audio, Video information to numerous places from a single source. This dynamic concept enables the source to control every individual point to make specific changes and modifications as per requirement.
Advertising, news, focused information or any other visual communication can be easily distributed to CCTV deploying INFOCAST to provide display of accurate train arrival timings at various stations through this with a centralized controlling server.
A perfect mechanism has been researched & further developed to manage CCTV placed at various locations, by casting station specific information, through the single data source routed from the Southern Railway Control room.
IMPLEMENTATION OF INFOCAST IN MAMBALAM STATION
On recognition of Dynasource’s innovative concept by the Southern Railway it has been introduced in the Indian Railways, a new generation cost effective technology ‘INFOCAST’ for the benefit of the commuters by providing exact information to the passenger. The information includes the time left the earlier station, arrival time of departure and the destination will be displayed for the commuters.
The maiden venture of INFOCAST technology is proven success at Mambalam railway station, one of the prime train stations in Chennai City, displaying the train arrival information continually throughout the day and night for more than Twenty hours. The display of the information is through 29” TV units placed at 15 strategic locations on both the platform and the foot-over bridge to catch the ease of the commuter.
